HOUSING, RESIDENCE LIFE & GREEK LIFE

Undergraduate Housing

Case offers unparalleled opportunities for undergraduate students to pursue their academic goals in an environment that encourages success through living and learning. Thrust into the heart of Cleveland's University Circle area, the Case campus is an exciting location to live, learn and explore. Nestled among several cultural, intellectual and scientific institutions, our neighbors include the Cleveland Museum of Art, Severance Hall, Cleveland Botanical Gardens, University Hospitals and The Cleveland Clinic.

As an institution of higher education, Case is dedicated to becoming the most powerful learning environment in the world. The Office of Housing, Residence Life & Greek Life is committed to this goal by creating developmental and comprehensive living and learning communities. The residence halls at Case provide an environment that is supportive of the academic mission of the university.

Residential Colleges

During the first year on campus, students live in one of three residential colleges. Nine of our residence halls belong to either Cedar, Juniper, or Mistletoe Residential College.

Cedar: Includes Smith, Taft and Tyler Houses
Juniper: Includes Norton, Raymond and Sherman Houses
Mistletoe: Includes Hitchcock, Pierce and Storrs Houses

North Residential Village

Most undergraduate students live together in the North Residential Village. Case has a two-year residency requirement, and unless you live at home within 40 miles of campus, you must live on campus for your first two years at Case.

The North Residential Village is located near the museums, Severance Hall, and other cultural attractions. The residence halls are surrounded by trees and recreational fields and are close to the academic buildings on Mather Quad, the Thwing Student Center, Arabica Coffee House, the Silver Spartan Diner and the Kelvin Smith Library.

The Village at 115

In 2005, Case introduced a new living-learning environment for upperclass students. The Village at 115 incorporates seven residential "houses" with accommodations for approximately 740 upperclass students.
