Graduating Senior Experience Program
At this stage in your academic career, you are ready to take on the world.
This is the capstone of your residential experience. Through your experiences at
Case you have learned to make connections and evolve both academically and
socially. It's time to make a transition again, however, this time the
transition is out of the Case community and into society. It's time to take what
you have learned to the next step - whether that step is towards a university
graduate program or a job. Developmental programming in this phase focuses on
reflections, transitions, connections and celebrations.
We can help prepare you for job interviews and arm you with other life skills
you can use to successfully transition from university life to your life after
Case.
Here are just some examples of the many exciting and beneficial developmental
programs you will have the opportunity to participate in throughout the academic
year.
- Residential College Alumni Receptions: Reunite with fellow members of
your residential college and share your experiences with first year students
who are just learning about the university.
- Senior Social "Countdown to Graduation:" Gather with your fellow seniors
and celebrate your final year at Case.
- Required Capstone: A class that culminates your efforts during your four
years at Case in your particular discipline. Concludes at the end of the
academic year with a presentation related to your focus of study.
- Focus on the Future Series: A series of seminars geared toward arming
you with the skills you need when you leave the university environment -
managing finances, budgeting and purchasing a car.
- Professional Interviews: You can participate in programs that will help
you prepare for professional interviews and guide you through the resume
writing process.
