Board Charges
All undergraduate students living in university-operated housing, with the exception of upper-class experience program students living in apartment-style housing, are required to be on a meal plan. Meal plan meals can be used at Fribley Dining Commons, Leutner Dining Commons including the L3 Grill at The Spot, the "Grab It" in the Sears Building on the Case Quad, and once per week at the Silver Spartan Diner.
CaseCash can be used in selected vending machines and at all on-campus dining locations including Starbucks®, Subway®, Einstein Bros Bagels® as well as a variety of off-campus locations, including Arabica Coffee House, Giant Eagle, Quizno's and many more. CaseCash can also be used for non-food purchases at the University Bookstore, residence hall laundry rooms, the library, and many off-campus merchants. Unused CaseCash will carry over from semester to semester and from year to year and is refundable at the end of the spring semester or upon leaving Case.
Students are restricted to a meal plan based on their residential experience as indicated in the chart below.
