Calling Features
Caller ID
The number of the person calling is displayed on your telephone when it
rings. You must have a caller ID capable telephone in order to use this
feature.
Call Waiting
If you are on the telephone and receive another call, you will hear a tone.
If you have a caller ID capable telephone, you will also see the number of the
caller. Press the "flash" button on your telephone or momentarily press the
switch hook to answer the call. If you do not answer the call, it will be
forwarded to voice mail.
Call Transfer
To transfer the current call to another extension, press the "flash" button
on your telephone or depress the switch hook momentarily. When you hear
the tone, dial the destination number. If you wish to complete the
transfer immediately, just hang up. Otherwise, you can wait for the other
party to answer and announce the call. To return to your original call,
press the flash button again.
Conference Calling
You can have up to six participants in a conference call. To add a
participant, press the "flash" button on your telephone or depress the switch
hook momentarily. When you hear the tone, dial the number of the person to add
to the conference. When the party answers, press the flash button to add
the user to your conference.
