Connecting Your Telephone

In the North Residential Village, there is one telephone line per room. In the South Residential Village, there are two telephone numbers per suite. If multiple students share a telephone number, each student has access to an individual voicemail box.

Required Materials

• Standard analog telephone (caller ID enabled recommended)
• Phone cable

Instructions

1. Connect one end of the telephone cable to the RJ-45 port on the faceplate. The jack is on the front of the faceplate. If you are in a double room, only one of the two faceplates has an active telephone connection. If the first faceplate does not work, try the other one.
   
   
    
2. Connect the other end of the telephone cable to the open port on the telephone.
