Case recycles many materials, such as white offfice paper, mixed fiber paper (like magazines and newspaper), aluminum glass, plastics, cardboard, and batteries. Recycling bins are located throughout University residence halls, academic, administrative buildings, and lab and medical facilities. Recycling bins are labeled indicating the type of material they collect. The contents from the bins are retrieved by Facilities Services personnel, often as part of garbage collection and the recyclable material is processed at the campus recycling center. Case also recycles computers, batteries, printing cartridges, crap metal, cell phones and safely discards paint, florescent lighting and other materials.
