Parent Orientation
Parents of incoming first-year students are invited to participate in Parent Orientation at Case. Each parent orientation session coincides with a summer
orientation session for students. Parents are guests of the university for most activities, including breakfast and lunch on the second day.
Optional activities are fee-based and will include excursions and a special parent dinner. Parking and any additional meals are available for an
additional fee. Though all family members are welcome, no specific on-campus activities are planned for children.
Parents can stay at nearby hotels, plus we also offer special Case residence hall housing. This housing is separate from student
housing and is available for family members during July summer sessions I, II, and III. Our on-campus housing provides apartment-style living in suites ranging
from efficiencies to nine bedrooms. Each apartment in the The Village at 115 has a common
living room/dining area, a full kitchen, and air conditioning. Each bedroom has one double bed and there is one bathroom for every
two to three rooms. The rate for family members in Case housing is $115 per room for two nights (single or double
occupancy).
More information on parent orientation will be posted as soon as information is available. Be sure to check out the 2007-2008 Parent Handbook [PDF, 3.8MB]
for additional information for parents.
