Parent Checklist

As you know, your student has a New Student Checklist with important forms, links, and information to be completed prior to attending a Summer Session and Welcome Days. All required forms from Health Services to Academic Advising to Orientation registration can be found in the New Student Checklist.

The New Student Checklist is password sensitive, so only your student will have access to update information and complete the necessary forms. We've created a sample checklist to highlight a few of the required forms for students.

Below you'll find a Parent Checklist to complete prior to your Summer Session:

1. Review the Parent Orientation website. Here, you will find important details about orientation. Plus, we will provide updates on registration and events as information becomes available.
2. Register for Parent Orientation (registration opens April 1, 2008). Parent registration is included on your student's Orientation registration page. Please be sure to have your student log into their New Student Checklist to register you for Orientation.
3. Read the University policies on student educational records.
4. Encourage your student to complete their paperwork and meet the deadlines indicated on their New Student Checklist.
5. Join the Parents/Family of CWRU Class of 2013 Facebook group to talk about orientation, life at Case or the greater Cleveland area.
6. Review information regarding campus technology, computer specifications, and the CaseWARN system.
