Case Ventures

Students who attend July summer sessions may elect to arrive early for Welcome Days and participate in one of our pre-Welcome Days programs. Case Ventures give students the opportunity to expand their interests while meeting new classmates.

Case Ventures are fee-based. The fee includes food, accommodations, activities, supplies, and transportation to and from campus.

In 2008, venture activities will occur from Monday, August 18 through Wednesday, August 20. Residential students participating in Case Ventures can move into their permanent housing assignment on Sunday, August 17.

	Case Leads! There are several ways to get involved at Case! This venture is for students interested in an opportunity to engage in experiential learning while getting to know more about some of the leadership opportunities on campus. If you are looking to be an integral part of the Case community, this is the venture for you.
	Case Serves! Serve and learn in the Cleveland community, and participate in projects sponsored by Case's Center for Civic Engagement and Learning. Many incoming students have extensive experience in community service and remain committed throughout their college experience at Case. This is a rewarding venture, which introduces you to Cleveland, new friends, and of course ways to make a difference.
	Case Treks! Feeling adventurous? Sign up now for all the fresh air, camping, hiking, and whitewater rafting you can handle in two days. This group will work together to cook meals and explore the great outdoors! There's no better way to start off the semester.
	Case Explores! Want to get a jump start on your Cleveland experience? Whether you are new to the area or live right up the road, this venture will offer new meaning to the term "Cleveland Rocks!" See the hot spots and enjoy all the culture Cleveland has to offer.
	Case Spelunks! Get ready to explore some rocks, caves and caverns — Case Spelunks offers you an adventure in rugged cave exploration and rappelling. Make new friends out in the wild, as you enjoy the beauty of Laurel Caverns. It's a unique way to enjoy the great outdoors and make new connections.
	Case Eats! Do you have an appetite for culture, arts, museums, and FOOD? This adventure will take you to prominent museums, restaurants, and behind-the-scene tours!
