Case Serves!
Students who participate in Case Serves can learn
about the City of Cleveland while participating in community service
projects planned by Case's Center for Civic Engagement and Learning.
Case Serves participants will:
It was really amazing to get the opportunity to give back to the
community of Cleveland, especially since I knew I would be living
there for four years. It also gave me a chance to make new friends,
get acquainted to the campus, and just have fun!
Chloe Schultz
- participate in both large group and small group projects throughout Cleveland
- learn about campus organizations, local non-profits, and community service learning projects where students can meet a genuine need in the Cleveland community
- tour both Cleveland's well-known attractions and our unique neighborhoods on
Lolly the Trolley
- spend one night downtown at a Cleveland Indian's game and then have dinner at Progressive Field
- board the Nautica Queen for a dinner cruise on the river and lakefront
- reflect on the two days of service and decide how to stay involved and continue to serve the Cleveland community
In 2009, the fee for Case Serves was $140, which included meals, transportation, and activities.
