How Do I Apply?
Step One: ELP Participant Application
Submit the online ELP Participant Application by Tuesday, September 8, at midnight.
ELP Scholarship Application *Optional*
There are a few scholarships available to first-year students interested in the ELP. The scholarship is need-based and recipients are selected by the ELP Advisory Team. If you are interested in applying for an ELP Scholarship, please complete the scholarship portion of the ELP Participant Application before you submit.
If you so choose, a recommendation may be submitted on your behalf by someone who is able to address your dedication to learning and practicing leadership. Recommendation forms are due to the Office of Student Activities & Leadership (110 Thwing Center) by Tuesday, September 8, at 5 p.m.
Step Two: Interview Day
All ELPer applicants will participate in an individual and group interview process. Interviews will take place on Saturday, September 12 and should last approximately 1 hour.
On the online application you will rank your preferred interview timeblock. You will be notified of your interview time through e-mail.
*If you are not available on Saturday, September 12, there will be an alternate interview opportunity on Friday, September 11.
Step Three: Notification of Acceptance
Applicants will be considered for admission once they have:
- Completed the ELP Participant Application by the deadline
- Participated in Interview Day
Applicants will be notified of their acceptance on Thursday, September 17.
