How Do I Apply?

Step One: ELP Participant Application

Submit the online ELP Participant Application by Monday, September 8, at 5 p.m.

ELP Scholarship Application *Optional*

There are a few scholarships available to first-year students interested in the ELP. The scholarship is need-based and recipients are selected by the ELP Advisory Team. If you are interested in applying for an ELP Scholarship, please complete the scholarship portion of the ELP Participant Application before you submit.

Recommendation Form(s) *Optional*

If you so choose, a recommendation may be submitted on your behalf by someone who is able to address your dedication to learning and practicing leadership. Recommendation forms are due to the Office of Student Activities & Leadership by Monday, September 8, at 5 p.m.

Step Two: Individual Interview

Visit the Office of Student Activities & Leadership (Thwing Center) by Monday, September 8, at 5 p.m. to sign-up for an individual interview with a member(s) of the ELP Advisory Team.

Interviews will take place from Wednesday, September 10, to Friday, September 26.

Step Three: Group Interview Process

On the online application you will rank your preferred group interview time.  You will be notified of your time through e-mail.

Group interviews will take place on Saturday, September 27 in the Thwing Center.

Step Four: Notification of Acceptance

Applicants will be considered for admission once they have:

• Completed the ELP Participant Application by the deadline
• Participated in the individual interview
• Participated in the group interview process

The ELP Advisory Team will select 90 participants based on the above criteria.

Applicants will be notified of their acceptance on Thursday, October 2.
