Founded in 1867 to preserve and present the history of all people of Northeast Ohio, the Western Reserve Historical Society is the largest privately owned regional historical society in the United States. In addition to the world-class genealogy library, the complex includes the turn-of-the-century Hay-McKinney Mansion and the Chisholm Halle Costume Wing, which features rotating exhibitions year-round.
The Crawford Auto-Aviation Museum features approximately 200 antique, vintage and classic automobiles and aircraft.

Museum hours: Monday-Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Sunday 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. Library hours: Tuesday-Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with Wednesday evening hours; Sunday 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.; closed Mondays.
