How it Works
Using the Print2Here printers is easy!
Once you have installed the appropriate drivers for
your computer, you can print directly to the networked printers.
There is no special server to access, and no complicated authentication
procedure. Just print!
Print2Here printers are located in the following locations around
campus:
- Carlton Commons - Next to the Fitness Room
- Fribley Commons - Outside the Fireside Lounge
- Sears Building - Plain Dealer Electronic Learning Center
- Thwing Center - Zone Two CyberCafé
- The Village at 115 - Outside Starbucks
- Wade Commons - Outside the Fireside Lounge
When a job is received, it is stored by the printer until you go there to
pick it up! If you decide not to pick up the job, it will never be
printed. Jobs are deleted from the printer if they are not picked up
within two hours of printing.
Picking Up Your Printing
Your job will not be printed until you visit the printer to pick it up.
- Swipe your CaseOneCard in the card reader.
- Press the "Job Status" button on the machine, which is located
just to the right of the display.
- Select your job from the printer display. You may need to scroll up or
down to find your job in the list.
- Press "Release" on the display.
- If you used the secure printing feature, enter the
four-digit PIN you assigned to the job.
- Repeat steps 3-5 for any additional jobs you wish to print.
- Press "Done" on the card reader to complete your transaction.
The number of copies and cost will be displayed on the card reader display
during printing. Your balance will also be displayed briefly after you press
"Done".
Printing Costs
The Print2Here program has teamed with Housing, Residence Life & Greek
Life and Educational Services for Students to offer free printing to undergraduate students.
Each registered undergraduate student receives a number of
free print pages each semester. Additional
pages can be purchased using CaseCash for $0.05 each.
Others can purchase pages using CaseCash for $0.05 each.
Guests can purchase pages using CaseCash for $0.05 each. Guest CaseCash
cards are available for purchase at value transfer stations located in Thwing
Center and Wade Commons.
