Installing on Windows XP

1. From the start menu, select Printers and Faxes.
   
   
    
2. On the left side of the window under "Printer Tasks", select Add a Printer.
   
   
    
3. Select the Local Printer attached to this computer radio button.
4. Ensure that Automatically detect my Plug and Play printer is unchecked.
5. Press Next.
   
   
   
   
6. Select the Create New Port radio button.
7. Select Standard TCP/IP Port from the "Type of port" list.
8. Press Next.
   
   
   
   
9. Enter the name of the printer in the "Printer Name or IP Address" box:
   • print2carlton.case.edu
   • print2fribley.case.edu
   • print2sears.case.edu
   • print2thwing.case.edu
   • print2village.case.edu
   • print2wade.case.edu
10. The port name will be completed automatically.
11. Press Next.
    
    
     
12. Press Finish.
    
    
    
    
13. Choose Xerox from the "Manufacturer" list.
14. Windows XP: Choose Xerox Document Centre 425 PS from the "Printers" list.
15. Windows 2000: Choose Xerox Document Centre 230 PS from the "Printers" list.
16. Press OK.
    
    
    
    
17. Enter a name for the printer in the "Printer name" box.  We suggest something like "Print2Village" to help you distinguish which of the Print2Here printers you have installed.
18. Press Next.
    
    
    
    
19. Select Finish.
    
    
20. Disable Banner Pages
