Using Secure Printing

Windows XP
  • After you have installed the printer on your computer, go to Start, then Printers and Faxes
  • Right-click on the print2here printer you are using, and select Properties from the menu that appears
  • Press Printing Preferences
  • A new window will appear; press Advanced
  • Locate the "Job Type" option under "Printer Features" and select Secure Print.

  • You will be prompted to create a four-digit password. You will need to enter this code to release your print jobs.

  • Press OK, OK, OK, and OK.
MacOS X
  • When printing a document, click on the drop-down box that says "Copies and Pages", and select Xerox Job Type

  • Select Secure Print as the job type
  • Pick a four-digit password, and enter it next to "Secure Print".
  • Select any other printing options you want, then press Print
Linux

The secure printing feature is not available on Linux.
