Understanding the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Case Western Reserve University will host the Third Annual CWRU Martin Luther King, Jr., Celebration Week in January. MLK Celebration Week is designed to honor the memory and spirit of Dr. King and will be the week of January 18, 2010.  The theme of this year's MLK Week is Where Do We Go From Here?  Building on the Legacy of Dr. King.

The weeklong celebration will include a variety of workshops, films, discussions, and speakers sponsored by various academic departments and schools, centers, offices, and student organizations. The annual MLK Convocation is also part of Martin Luther King Celebration Week.   This year's MLK Convocation speaker will be author and political commentator Donna Brazile.

2010 Essay Contest
