Windows Mobile ActiveSync Setup

Exchange ActiveSync for email, calendar, contacts and tasks is supported on all devices running Windows Mobile 5, 6, 6.1 and 6.5.

These instructions may vary slightly from product to product, you may need to consult your user manual for more information.

Prerequisite for devices running Windows Mobile 5

• Open Internet Explorer on your PDA and download and install the security certificate at http://studentaffairs.case.edu/support/systems/pda/rootcert.cab.

Connection Instructions for Windows Mobile 5, 6, 6.1 and 6.5

• From the "Start" menu on your PDA, select "ActiveSync."
• From the "Tools" menu, select "Options..."
• Select the "Server" tab.
• Enter "samail.case.edu" in the "Use this server" field.
• Click the "Options..." button.
• Enter your Case network ID (ex. abc123) in the "User name" field.
• Enter your Student Affairs password in the "Password" field.
• Enter "CWRUADS" in the "Domain" field.
• Check "Save password" if you want your PDA to automatically sync, then tap "ok."
• In the "Sync these items" box, check which items you would like to sync, then tap "ok."
