Student Affairs Website Management

The Student Affairs web site is managed by the web development team in the Student Affairs IT Operations Group. The group is responsible for maintaining the server and for creating much of the complex code and content that makes up our departmental, group and program sites. The web management team is responsible for overseeing the branding and layout of our websites.

Web Site Management Objectives
  • Maintain the overall look and feel of the Student Affairs site consistent with university branding guidelines, accessibility guidelines and web best practices.
  • Provide a robust framework for departments and groups to present content to students, faculty, staff, parents, alumni, and guests.
  • Assist departmental staff in developing effective and engaging content about their programs and events.
  • Coordinate the presentation of cross-departmental themes such as employment or leadership opportunities.
  • Ensure that the content from departments and programs is presented consistently and with a common voice.
  • Offer opportunities for professional development in the form of training in style guidelines, web content development and site design.
