Blogs
From Wikipedia: A blog is a type of website, usually maintained by an individual with regular entries
of commentary, descriptions of events, or other material such as graphics or
video. Entries are commonly displayed in reverse-chronological order. Many blogs
provide commentary or news on a particular subject; others function as more
personal online diaries. A typical blog combines text, images, and links to
other blogs, web pages, and other media related to its topic. The ability for
readers to leave comments in an interactive format is an important part of many
blogs. Most blogs are primarily textual.
The "closest resource" doctrine applies in establishing a blog:
1. Student Affairs Resources
Much of the blog functionality, including publishing, subscribing, and
archiving of textual content can be achieved on the Division of Student Affairs website.
Blogs hosted here will be fully-integrated into the website for the
department, program, or group, including site navigation and searching.
Additional blog functionality may be introduced as demand warrants.
2. University Resources
If commenting is required, blog.case.edu provides full blogging
functionality. The IT group will assist in developing a template for the content
consistent with the branding for the Division of Student Affairs site.
3. Partner Resources

4. Other Resources
Not required or permitted.
