Photo Galleries
From Wikipedia: Photo sharing is the publishing or transfer of
digital photos online, thus enabling the user to share them with others (whether
publicly or privately). This functionality is provided through both websites and
applications that facilitate the upload and display of images. The term can also
be loosely applied to the use of online photo galleries that are set up and
managed by individual users.
The "closest resource" doctrine applies in establishing a photo gallery:
1. Student Affairs Resources
Photo gallery functionality is available on the student affairs site
through our Community Server software. The galleries themselves are hosted in a
separate section of the site, but a selection of random photos from a gallery activity can
be embedded in an individual site, as well.
Note: We are currently trying to eliminate our use of Community Server on the
site due to increased licensing costs. It will remain available while an
alternative is being examined.
2. University Resources
Not available.
3. Partner Resources
Not available.
4. Other Resources
Not required or permitted.
